History:
Very little is known of the groundskeeper of the X-mansion. He's obviously of Scottish origin, as he has a thick accent, and, despite his name, does not seem to be a fan of the Simpsons (though he's yet to get angry at anyone who notes the connection).
Some of his past is military, and it's very possible that he first met Xavier in that capacity.
He also spent some time as an associate of the illegal conspiracy known (by those very few who do know of it) as Delta Green, although whether or not he was actually a member remains to be seen. Eight years ago, he was involved in investigating the mass death of members of a New Age group. Some victims seemed almost mummified, and others seemed partially phased through solid matter. The event was covered up, as almost all Delta Green ops were. The cover story was that it was a mass suicide.
He later began working with Professor Xavier, after discovering the man had started fighting similar forces of darkness. He became a friend, even a confidant of sorts, as Xavier eventually confided in Willie that he was a mutant. Willie considers Xavier a friend as well, but did not told Professor Xavier anything about Delta Green, as he was under orders not to. He went so far as to warn Forge, a Delta Green friendly who also knew the Professor, not to tell anything either, even though it should have gone without saying.
It took the Rutland Event, in which an experimental dimensional gate malfunctioned and spilled out another dimension out over an entire town, before Willie came forward, and that was only because Delta Green wanted the X-Men to go in and destroy the gate. In the process it was revealed that Willie had been providing the agency with information about all the X-Men, since the very beginning. Even though Delta Green has acted to protect the X-Men's secret so far, this has severely damaged the trust Xavier has in Willie. Although he's still the Groundskeeper, much of his access is removed. He's kept on mostly as a liason between the X-Men and Delta Green for when something apocalyptic happens.
Height: 5'7" Weight: 190 lbs.
Eyes: Brown Hair: Red
Unusual physical characteristics: Willie's Scottish
accent is very thick, and he may have trouble hiding it even if he
desired to.
Strength level: Willie possesses the normal human
strength of a man his age, height, and build, who engages
in regular exercise.
Known superhuman powers: None. Willie is not a mutant
at all.
Other abilities: Willie knows a number of forms of hand
to hand combat, though can't be considered an expert in any of
them. He also has a pilot license and has experience with the
vehicles at the X-mansion. He is also a rather good Groundskeeper,
and can run most systems of the Mansion.
Weapons and paraphernalia: Willie has access to firearms
when he needs them, but doesn't regularly carry them. Likewise, he
has very easy access to a chainsaw.
Other notes: Most, if not all, of the rumored relationship
between Dr. Moira MacTaggart and Willie is just that, rumor.
