The XETties, or the XET Log Awards, are sort of like the Emmies, or the Oscars, or Golden Globes, but honoring the best and brightest appearing in our own logged RP here at XET.
The XETties statuette is made of what appears to be solid gold, depicting a mass of tentacles dragging down the winged woman of the 'Emmy' statuette, and the knight of the 'Oscar' statuette. The Oscar is attempting to use his sword to cut off his own leg to escape. The statue feels unnaturally cool to the touch. A link to the log of the award ceremony, held on Sunday May 25th, 2003, will be added when it is available.

The Rookie of the Year award honors those who've made their debut
in the logs in the nominating year. They cannot have appeared in any
log prior to those eligible for this year's XETties, and so it is
something of a "Best New Character" category.
Winner: Ororo (second player), #2398,
"What do you get when you put a a Weather Goddess, An Invisible Man
and 200 Naked Women on a Large Island Continent in the South
Pacific?"
Other Nominees:
This category was meant for pairs of people who work well together.
Despite the name, it's not always for people who are dating; it could
be for two best friends, or even two enemies.
Winner: Eve and Swarm, #2763,
"Human"
Other Nominees:
A new category, dealing with scenes which were completely written
up by one player (no NPCs played by others), to advance a certain plot

they had an OHXET entry at all. Even people on the NPC
Page could be nominated.
